The Starkville Oktibbeha School District is transitioning to a new text message service powered by our mass messaging provider, SchoolMessenger.
In order to receive text messages from the District, you must opt-in to this service.
If we have an SMS text phone number for you on file, you should receive an Opt-In Invitation text from SchoolMessenger on Wednesday, June 20.
You will be asked to Reply Y to confirm if you would like to receive text messages from our school district.
If you previously subscribed to another text service, you must still opt-in to the new service in order to continue to receive text messages from the District.
If your wireless number is changed, or a new number is added in our student information system database, the new number will automatically be sent an Opt-In message. It may take 24 hours or more for numbers to be updated from the district database.
