The Starkville Oktibbeha School District includes two attendance zones based on a student's primary residence. Attendance zones are pictured in the map below along with school locations. Students living in the West attendance zone will attend West Elementary School for grades Prek through 5th. Those living in the East-Central zone will attend Sudduth Elementary, Henderson Ward Stewart Elementary, and Overstreet Elementary for their respective grades. Students in both attendance zones will attend Partnership Middle School, Armstrong Junior High School and Starkville High School for secondary grades.
If you have questions regarding the district's school structure or attendance zones, please contact Emily Ward at 662.615.0013.
Procedures regarding reporting of information about students attending school outside their school district of residence:
If anyone has information concerning a student who either resides in the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District but actually attends public school in another public school district, or who resides in another public school district and attends school in the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District, without having obtained approval from both the school boards of the sending and receiving school districts, please report that information to the Office of the Superintendent of SOCSD. You should contact Emily Ward in the Superintendent’s Office by telephone (662-615-0013) or in writing (401 Greensboro Street, Starkville, MS 39759) to give your information or complaints about such students.
All information will be held in confidence by Ms. Ward except on a need-to-know basis to investigate the reports and ultimately to address the students concerned.
