The Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District Office of Communications and Public Information seeks to serve the Yellow Jacket family and greater Starkville community as a trusted source of information about SOCSD students, staff, schools, programs and accomplishments. Our goal is to provide accurate, timely and relevant information to the district's internal and external audiences and stakeholders including parents, staff, community members, university representatives, business and industry partners, the media and the public at large.

Through a variety of communications tools, the SOCSD Communications Office supports the district's goals for creating positive school culture, building effective parent and community engagement and providing students with vibrant learning opportunities to discover their passion, purpose and potential.
