Welcome to SUDDUTH ELEMENTARY
From the very first day of kindergarten, Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District is sparking the flame of success even in our youngest of students through creative and individualized learning experiences in every classroom. Sudduth Elementary is where the Starkville Spark begins during pre-kindergarten through 1st grade.
Individualized, Personalized Educational Experience
Through multisensory sensory instruction, teachers engage students through sight, hearing, movement and touch to help them connect in more than one way to what they are learning. Hands-on, collaborative learning experiences in art, science, math, reading, music, technology and play, curiosity comes alive as our youngest Yellow Jackets begin a lifelong journey of learning in a student-centered, 21st century classroom that encourages curiosity, creativity, problem solving and critical thinking.
A Space for Excellence
Maker space, collaborative work places inside our schools, focuses on student-centered in quiry and support peer collaboration while encouraging our students to engage in conversations and build relationships as they learning together.
