Child Abuse Prevention Month Community Pinwheel Planting Ceremony

Discovery Center Parking Lot 1504 Louisville St., Starkville, MS

The short Ceremony will include greetings from The Honorable Mayor Lynn Spruill, City of Starkville and Dr. Brandi Burton, Discovery Center Director. There will be presentations on the History of Child Abuse Prevention Month and The Significance of the Pinwheel. The Starkville High School Gospel Choir will perform. Everyone will be given Pinwheels to plant in the honor of protecting children’s innocence and turning obstacles into opportunities.
