Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District and the City of Starkville will host a Championship Parade and Celebration honoring the Yellow Jacket Girls and Boys Basketball teams for winning the 2026 7A State Championships. The parade will be held on Tuesday, March 24 at 6:00pm in downtown Starkville.
The parade route will begin at the intersection of Jackson and Lampkin Streets and follow Lampkin to Greensboro Street ending with a Pep Rally and Team Recognition at the Greensboro Center lawn. Both basketball teams along with spirit groups will participate in the parade and spectators will hear from coaches, players and city officials during the pep rally celebration. Fans are invited to wear black and gold and line the parade route to celebrate these historic championships.
