The Starkville Oktibeha School is ready to begin another year of excellence in the Jacket nation, and our teachers, administrators and support team are excited to welcome our students and parents to a new year!
Online registration for returning students is scheduled to open on Tuesday, July, 9, at 1 pm. To complete your child’s online registration form, you must log into your PowerSchool parent portal account. Click on the returning student registration link located in the bottom left hand corner. You can access PowerSchool at www.starkvillesd.com.
If you do not have an account, you will need to create one. Click on the “create account” tab to begin. If you need assistance, please contact your child's school.
Centralized Registration, Residency Verification, Schedule Pick-Up & Teacher Assignment
Parents of students at Sudduth Elementary School, Henderson Ward Stewart Elementary School, Overstreet Elementary School and Armstrong Middle School ONLY will be held July 23-26 at Sudduth Elementary School in the physical education facility.
July 23 – 10 am until 12 pm – SOCSD EMPLOYEES ONLY; 1 pm until 6 pm – Kindergarten and New STUDENTS ONLY* **
*New this year! We're offering one day of centralized registration for our youngest Yellow Jackets and their families at Sudduth Elementary School! Parents/Guardians of students who are entering kindergarten at Sudduth Elementary School may complete online registration forms, verify residency and return required forms including immunization form and birth certificate to pick up teacher assignment. Parents who have a child entering kindergarten AND also have a child who is a returning student in grades 1-8 will also be allowed to pick up their child’s teacher assignment/schedule if they have completed all registration requirements.
July 24 – 7 am until 3 pm **

Visit the Tshirt Shop located in the art room at Sudduth Elementary School! PTO and Booster Clubs will have tshirts available for purchase at Sudduth during registration hours.
West Elementary School
**Parents of students at West Elementary School may complete registration requirements and pick up their child’s teacher assignment at West Elementary School July 23-26.
Starkville High School
Schedule pickup, residency verification, parking permits, and online registration will be held July 29 & 30 for students who attend Starkville High School.
July 29, 9 until 11 am for Seniors; 12 until 2 pm for Juniors
July 30, 9 until 11 am for Sophomores; 12 until 3 pm for Freshmen
