The Starkville Oktibbeha School District Board of Trustees is considering two new policies.
Policy GBRMB - Vaping refers to vaping and the use of electronic cigarettes. Policy EBAD - Tobacco Free District bans the use of all tobacco and vaping products in all school
buildings in the district and on all school vehicles by all persons at all times.
The board held its first reading of the proposed policies during its regular montly board meeting held on March 17.
The board is now seeking public comment regarding the proposed policies prior to the second reading during the regular monthly meeting on April 14.
