Juniors:  12 until 2 pm

Your Keys to an Excellent Start to the School Year

*Register Online: Your first key for an excellent start! Complete your child's online registration form at www.starkvillesd.com/registration. Deadline to register online for bus transportation on the first day of school is July 14. Need help with registration?  In-person support will be available at SHS Open Door.  You can also register in-person on July 13 & 14 at SHS from 9-11 OR 12-2.

*Get Connected: Your second key to excellence is connection! Parents, please stop by and verify that your email and phone number(s) listed in PowerSchool are correct so that we can share information with you throughout the year. Be sure you also connect with SHS on social media. Like SHS's official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/StarkvilleHighSchool. Follow SHS on Twitter & Instagram @Starkville_High.

*Car Driver or Bus Rider: Your third key to excellence is showing up for school every day. Students who plan to drive to school must have a campus parking permit. For additional details and information regarding student parking and personalized senior parking spaces, go to https://www.starkvillesd.com/student-life/shs-student-parking.

Not a driver? Make sure you know your bus number and you complete your online registration form at www.starkvillesd.com/registration by July 14.

*Lunch Applications: Your fourth key to excellence fuels your body. Breakfast and lunch are FREE for all students for the 2021-2022 school year. Parents are encouraged to complete a school lunch application to determine financial need for Title I funding, reduced fees for Advanced Placement testing, tuition for dual credit/dual enrollment classes, and other state and/or federal benefits.

*Check-In with Teachers & Counselors: Your fifth key to an excellent year is checking in with your teachers and counselor. Complete your first check-in on July 30 and make it a routine part of your school year.
