Two Starkville High School students are named National Merit Semifinalists. Soyeon Park and Jackson Shapley have earned recognition as National Merit Semifinalists for their scores on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
As Semifinalists, Soyeon and Jackson are ranked among the highest scoring students in Mississippi on PSAT. They are three of 16,000 academically talented students selected nationwide for the honor, which represents less than one percent of high school seniors in the country.
Former student Luca Hoffmann Meyer was also named a National Merit Semifinalist.
