PARENT NOTIFICATIONS
The Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District communicates with parents in several ways to be sure they are able to keep track of their students’ classroom activities as well as receive notification of schedule changes or emergency situations.
POWER SCHOOL
Power School is a web-based student information system which allows parents to access attendance records, class assignments and grades online.
SCHOOL MESSENGER
SOCSD has selected SchoolMessenger as our mass messaging system to share reminders of events, deadlines, field trips, etc. Notifications are sent to relevant parent contacts via email, text and voice messages.

EMAIL NEWSLETTER
SOCSD publishes Starkville Spark, an email newsletter which includes happenings throughout the district, important information and ways our students and teachers are sharing their “spark”. This newsletter is an important resource about district news for community members and parents alike.
