"I believe the Lord instilled a passion in me to help others, and I have always had a heart for the underdog," said Turman.  "At some point in every person's life, they will be the underdog, and I hope if it happens to one of my students while they are in my classroom or after they leave my classroom, they know I will be cheering for them and ready to help them in any way I possibly can."

"My goal each and every day is for my students – past, present, and future - to feel loved and appreciated."
