Starkville High School will host a drive-thru Senior Signing Day celebration on Friday, May 8, from 10 am until 12 pm. Seniors will also pick up their stoles and honor chords at this time for graduation.
Seniors who would like to participate in Senior Signing Day should click on the link below to complete the required form and upload their college or military letter of acceptance. Seniors must complete the form and provide a letter of acceptance to participate in Senior Signing Day.
The deadline to submit the required form and letter of acceptance is Friday, May 1.
Students will enter from Yellow Jacket Drive at the White House entrance, drive thru the senior parking lot, stop at the designated area, and get out to sign with their college or branch of the military. There will be a photographer present to capture this special moment. Parents or family members who join their senior must remain in the vehicle for the drive thru celebration.
Each senior will receive his/her own pen for this event. There will be hand sanitizer available for students before and after they sign with their college or military branch. Masks are encouraged, but not required.
After signing, seniors will park in the parking lot. A member of the SHS faculty and/or administrative team will assist seniors with gathering their stoles and/or honor chords.
SHS will follow all social distancing guidelines and safe practices during the signing day celebration and during pick up of stoles and/or honor chords. Please adhere to all guidelines and directions during this event.
