SHS 2023 Graduate Earns Bronze at FCCLA Nationals

SHS 2023 Graduate Rihana Warren earned bronze at FCCLA Nationals

This summer, SHS Class of 2023 graduate, Rihana Warren represented Starkville High School at the Family, Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) STAR Competition and received a Bronze medal.

FCCLA SHS chapter is the nationally affiliated skills club for students in our Family & Consumer Sciences CTE program. Students Taking Action with Recognition (STAR) Events are competitive events in which members compete at the regional/district, state, and national levels. Students are recognized for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and career preparation.

Starkville High School students can pursue a CTE Diploma Endorsement by completing a sequence of courses offered through our Millsaps Career and Technology Center at SHS. Millsaps offers 17 four-year CTE programs, each incorporating national certifications.
