Jacket TECHcellence:  New Dates Announced for Chromebook Distribution

The Starkville Oktibbeha School District has announced four new dates for Chromebook distribution for virtual or traditional students in grades 6-12. 

Monday, November 16 
12:30 pm until 2:30 pm 
3:30 pm until 5:30 pm 

Tuesday, November 17 
12:30 pm until 2:30 pm 
3:30 pm until 5:30 pm 

Wednesday, November 18 
12:30 pm until 2:30 pm 
3:30 pm until 5:30 pm 

All distributions will be held at Partnership Middle School.  Please park in the parking lot.  Do NOT park in the bus lane.  Enter through the double doors located on the east end of the building. A parent/guardian must be present to sign required documents for a student to receive his/her Chromebook.  

This is a walk-up distribution service.  Student/parent must view online training video for information about how to operate student's Chromebook.  The information is available on our website at www.starkvillesd.com/devices

Please note distribution is CLOSED from 2:30 until 3:30 pm for dismissal.  Chromebooks will not be distributed during this time.

Drive-Thru Alternative 

The Starkville Oktibbeha School District will offer a drive-thru service for medically-fragile students in grades 6-12 and/or their families.  This drive-thru option is a also available for virtual students in grades K-5 who have not already received their device.  This drive-thru service will be held at Partnership Middle School.  

Thursday, November 19 

9 am until 1:30 pm 

Please drive-thru the bus lane at Partnership Middle School, and a team member will assist you at your vehicle.  

Since this is a drive-thru service, student/parent must view online training video for information about how to operate student's device.  The information is available on our website at www.starkvillesd.com/devices

This is the final opportunity to receive your Chromebook or iPad (grades Prek-1) prior to Thanksgiving break.  Chromebooks will NOT be distributed on Friday, November 20.  

IMPORTANT:  Traditional students in grades Prek-5 will be issued a device to use at school. If schools are forced to transition to a virtual learning environment for all students, traditional students in grades Prek-5 will receive a device to take home.
