Upcoming SHS opportunities for ACT excellence

SHS opportunities for ACT excellence

Starkville High School is excited to offer opportunities for students to prepare for excellence on the ACT standardized college admissions exam. SHS will administer the ACT to all current 10th and 11th grade students on Tuesday, October 17 at Starkville High School. The exam will be free of charge for sophomores and juniors taking the test on this date. Scores earned on the test administered October 17 may be applied to college admissions requirements.

Seniors who are interested in taking the ACT exam this fall may sign up for the October 28 National Test Date through the ACT.org website. Standard fees for the exam will be required for any student taking the test on this date and may be paid through the site.

Starkville High will also offer two upcoming ACT Prep opportunities for students to learn valuable strategies to help prepare for the ACT test and boost scores.
