DISCOVERY STREET
Discover a whole new level of excellence on Discovery Street, our fee-based, summer and after-school childcare program for children enrolled in grades PreK-5.
AFTER SCHOOL 2024 -2025
Discovery Street is an afterschool care program offered to students in grades Pre-K-5 who attend school in Starkville Oktibbeha School District. Enrollment is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority is given to children who are currently enrolled in Discovery Street. Children must be potty-trained to participate in the program. Parents or guardians will be responsible for finding alternative care if your child needs or requires services that we cannot provide sufficiently.
Program Dates: July 23, 2024-May 28, 2025 (Program is closed during all school holidays, inclement weather, and early release days.)
Locations: West Elementary School and Sudduth Elementary School
Transportation: Parents will pick up students at West Elementary School.

COSTS
Registration Fee: $150 (Non-Refundable) + $42.50 for July Payment *July payment must be paid with the registration fee.
Regular Care Monthly Fee: $170 per month (August-May)
Regular Care Plus Intersession Monthly Fee: $220 per month (August-May)
** PLEASE NOTE: Intersession care is only available at Sudduth Elementary School. Students who attend Discovery Street at West may attend intersession care at Sudduth. Parents will be responsible for dropping students off and picking them up at Sudduth Elementary.

• Registration fee and July payment may be taken to The Discovery Center.

Please ring the doorbell at the south entrance of Emerson Family School. Payments are accepted Monday-Friday from 8:00am-2:00pm. ACH bank draft is also available for your convenience. A new bank draft form MUST be completed each school year regardless of previous bank draft history.

Program Dates: June 3, 2024 - July 16, 2024 (Program will be closed on June 19th and July 4th and for inclement weather)
Location: Sudduth Elementary School
Time: 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and a snack will be provided.
Transportation: Parents must drop off and pick up students at Sudduth Elementary School. Students will be bused to Henderson Ward Stewart Elementary for breakfast and lunch. Students must be at Sudduth by 8:15 each morning to be transported to Henderson Ward Stewart for breakfast.
COSTS
Registration Fee: $50 (Non-Refundable)
Monthly Fee: $600 per month. First payment is due May 1st. Second Payment is due June 3rd.
* Please Note: Payments are due in advance, and we offer a $100 discount for multiple children.
