Starkville Oktibbeha School District’s Project CARE is seeking qualified and experienced individuals for the following responsibilities:

  1. To develop and implement periodic workshops on gardening and growing techniques that address family food insecurity issues.
  2. To develop and implement periodic workshops on family fitness and exercise.
  3. To develop and implement periodic workshops on the dangers of drug use and abuse during pregnancy.
  4. To develop and implement periodic workshops on the benefits and techniques of breastfeeding.
  5. To develop and implement periodic workshops on breathing techniques for stress relief and reduction.
  6. To develop and implement workshops on family violence and de-escalation techniques, for mental and emotional distress or agitation.
  7. To develop and implement workshops on prevention techniques and education to address child abduction.
  8. To implement workshops on child learning through physical play.
  9. To conduct certified training on proper car seat installation.
  10. To conduct basic computer literacy classes including basics of computer use, Word and Excel.
  11. Family Counselor-To develop and implement a Family Counseling program that provides regular family group sessions as well as individual counseling sessions for families as a whole and/or individual members.
