State Championship Saturday Guide

The Starkville High School Yellow Jackets are headed to the 2022 MHSAA 6A State Championship on Saturday, December 3 in Hattiesburg, MS! Check out this Championship Gameday Guide for all your black and gold need-to-know information.

MHSAA 6A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Date: Saturday, December 3
Kickoff: 7:00pm
Location: M.M. Roberts Stadium, University of Southern Mississippi
The North Half champion Yellow Jackets will serve as the home team.

TICKETS

Tickets may be purchased online at gofan.co or at the stadium Gate 3 by CASH ONLY. Tickets are $15 each for an all-day pass, allowing admission for all games on December 3. Tickets are one-entry. Visitors who leave the stadium will require a new ticket to re-enter. 

Tickets are general admission and no reserved seating will be available. Children under 5 will be admitted without a ticket.

FAN GUIDELINES

  • No cameras or videotaping equipment will be allowed in M. M. Roberts Stadium. Air horns, bullhorns, sirens, vuvuzela horns are not allowed at MHSAA outdoor events. Cannons, umbrellas, propane gas heaters, ice chests, alcohol or tobacco are not allowed in the stadium.
  • A clear bag policy (shown below) is enforced at M. M. Roberts Stadium. Click here to view the policy.

TAILGATING

Tailgating is allowed during the MHSAA State Championship weekend. Tailgating should be set up in Spirit Park located to the northwest of the stadium. No stakes, please, and remember to clean up your area after breakdown.
